New transaction type selector in Custom Views
Limit views to Inflows, Outflows or both and strengthen control over financial information.

The Custom Views feature of nBanks (in the Company Settings section) has just been enhanced with a new option: the transaction type selector. From now on, it is possible to define whether a view applies only to Inflows, only to Outflows or to both, making information management and control even more precise.
Custom Views were created to give Administrators greater control over the financial information available to each user within the platform. This feature is exclusively available to profiles with Administrator permissions (master profile), who are the only ones able to create and manage these settings.
In practice, they allow the creation of limited transaction views tailored to specific users. For example, the Administrator can prevent a user from seeing certain categories, such as “Salaries”, or hide transactions based on specific descriptions, such as those that include “TRF”.
These restrictions are not limited to a single area. They apply across the entire platform. This means that, when a category or transaction type is restricted, that information is no longer visible in any module, whether in Budget, Cash Flow or other sections where that data appears.
With the introduction of the new transaction type filter, Custom Views become even more flexible. Now, in addition to controlling the “what” (categories and descriptions), it is also possible to control the “type” of transactions that each user can view. This allows for more specific configurations aligned with each user’s role in the company.
Benefits:
Greater control and security in sharing financial information;
Views better tailored to different user profiles;
Ability to segment data by Inflows, Outflows or both;
Enhanced protection of sensitive information;
Consistency of restrictions across all areas of the platform.
This update brings more clarity, organisation and control to companies’ day-to-day financial operations. With less irrelevant information and greater focus on what really matters, users can work more efficiently and securely.
This feature is available in all geographies. You can try it here.
