Comment Threads and Mentions in Bank Transactions
Discuss transactions with colleagues and accountants directly where the financial information lives.

It is now possible to add comments directly to bank transactions, making collaboration easier and reducing the need for emails or other external channels to discuss financial operations.
Through the Comment option in the transaction menu, users can start and follow conversations linked to a specific transaction. Comments are stored within the transaction itself, so every discussion stays attached to the related financial information.
The functionality supports mentions, allowing users to involve colleagues who have access to the transaction. Mentioned users receive a notification and an email with direct access to the transaction and its conversation. The accountant assigned to the company can also take part in conversations, enabling more efficient collaboration with the accounting firm.
Comments are available in Bank Statement, Custom Accounts, Cash Management In & Out, Group Dashboard, and Portfolio.
The functionality is included in all platform plans and does not require any additional add-on. In multiuser environments, only users with access to the bank account associated with the transaction can view, comment on, or be mentioned in discussions.
Benefits:
Conversations attached directly to each transaction;
Less reliance on emails and external channels;
Mentions with notifications and email alerts;
Direct collaboration with the company's accountant;
Consistent experience across all transaction views;
Included in all plans, with no add-on required;
Access respecting bank account permissions in multiuser environments.
Available in all geographies.
